An encounter with a region—the Ria d’Etel in Morbihan—and a shellfish, the oyster, whose cultivation depends directly on water quality.
Coralie and Etienne Damerose, a couple of oyster farmers, focus their attention on this shellfish, concerned about the water filtered through its mother-of-pearl shell.
This film chronicles the daily life of this couple and their life choices. The documentary follows their days, shaped by the river’s currents, the ebbs and flows of the economy, and the delicate balance they must maintain.
